The VIth Mittelwihr International school on Synchrotron Radiation and Magnetism will be held from the 14th to 19th October 2012.

This school is composed of:

- basic courses (magnetism, synchrotron radiation, light-matter interactions)

- specialized topics (imaging, strongly correlated systems, topological insulators, applications of XFEL, low dimensional magnetism, micromagnetism, ultra-fast dynamics)

- practicals (sumrules, multiplet calculations...)
